NZ On Air / Te Māngai Pāho Māori Factual Co-Fund Shortlist

In September NZ On Air and Te Māngai Pāho released an RFP seeking short-form proposals for a joint fund of up to $4m for ‘new, high-quality, receptive-language, screen Factual content for a broad and sizeable audience’.

Out of 15 applications, our joint panel have shortlisted the following eight projects to submit full proposals to the second stage of assessment.

The next submission deadline for full proposals is 16 January 2020, with production funding decisions announced 14 February 2020.

December Round Figures

The numbers are in!

Our final funding round for 2019 closed yesterday, and saw 58 Factual applications submitted requesting up to $23.8m million and 9 Scripted applications submitted requesting up to $4.1m.

Our funding team are already hard at work beginning the assessment process. Final funding decisions are to be announced around December 4th.
