The wait is almost over for Round Toru applicants.
Decisions are due for the final round for the 2025/26 financial year, Round Toru, this Friday 10 April 2026. We expect to communicate those decisions in a newsletter the beginning of next week with the full round outcomes.
Looking ahead
Our next funding round, Tahi, is the first round of the 2026/27 financial year.
Applications open: Thurs 30 April, 2026 9:00 am
Applications close: Thurs 21 May, 2026 4:00 pm
Decisions due: Fri 31 July, 2026
Information for applicants
The Round Tahi Information for Applicants will be available on our website from next Wednesday 15 April. These guidelines will give a clear outline of the applications that will be prioritised across the funding streams in this round, as well as the financial allocations for each.
Round Tahi applicant information webinar
We will be hosting a Round Tahi applicant information webinar on Thursday 16 April from 3-4pm, the day after the Information for Applicants guidelines are available. This is an opportunity to hear from the NZ On Air Funding team and ask any questions you have about the application process or priorities for this round.
To register for the webinar, just email funding@nzonair.govt.nz with the subject line 'Round Tahi Info webinar' and we will send you a Zoom link closer to the time.
Portal maintenance
