Change to funding round timing
The deadline for Round Rua, our next funding round, will be earlier than previously announced.
Decisions will be communicated on 24 November 2023 to allow more time for productions that need to contract before the end of the year.
Applications to Round Rua will open 17 August 2023. The deadline for applications will be 4pm, 14 September 2023.
Please liaise with your platform to ensure you don’t miss their deadlines for support. Guidelines for Round Rua will be published in the first week of August. If you have any questions please email amie@nzonair.govt.nz.

Content London coordination
With the recent changes to the NZ Screen Production Rebate allowing NZ On Air investment alongside access to the rebate, we are keen to support producers to leverage the opportunities this opens up.
With this in mind, our CE Cameron Harland and Board member Andrew Shaw will be attending Content London in November to better understand the market and look to make connections.
We're keen to hear from producers with local stories that have global aspirations that may also be attending Content London, so that we can coordinate. Please get in touch via kathrin@nzonair.govt.nz so that we can arrange a quick catch up in advance (likely via Zoom).
