Based in Wellington, you’ll deliver NZ On Air’s day-to-day research programme which is aimed at strengthening public media for all New Zealanders. Your work will guide funding decisions, inform strategy and help creators tell stories that resonate across communities, cultures and platforms.

What You’ll Do
- Conduct on‑screen inclusion research and build on existing insights
- Develop screen workforce reporting through Te Pae Matarau | The Everyone Project Aotearoa
- Deliver music diversity reporting
- Use AI tools to enhance research efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the arts, culture, media and academia
- Craft high‑quality reports and present findings to diverse audiences.
What You Bring
You’re someone who loves turning information into insight. You have strong analytical skills, excellent writing ability and confidence presenting research. You’re comfortable with databases, Excel and AI‑assisted research tools. You’ll also be confident dealing with stakeholders.
