Funding data tracker

Here we publish high level data, updated after each funding round, showing where Scripted and Non-fiction funding is going.

Across each funding round through the year we gather and monitor a range of high level data that allows us to see where the funding is going, and how it is impacting audiences, platforms and the production sector. While every application is assessed on its merits against the guidelines and criteria, understanding the high-level picture in this way is important to us, as we seek to serve a range of audiences across multiple platforms.

The below data is updated following each of the three Scripted and Non-fiction funding rounds.

2025/26 Funding decisions

We track the level of content being funded into primary platforms.

Increasingly we are also encouraging the idea of content playing out on various platforms, both linear and digital, which acknowledges the way audiences are consuming their media.

This data is pulled from the application information so this is self-reported data from applicants stating whether the content they’re seeking funding for will reach targeted audiences vs. general audiences.

It’s important to note that while content may be classified as general audience, it may have resonance and reach with targeted audiences.
