The NZ On Air board is responsible for determining broadcasting funding policy.
The board meets six times a year to make decisions on the funding of broadcasting projects and services.
Board members are appointed to the Broadcasting Commission (NZ On Air) for a term of 3 years by the Government under Section 45 of the Broadcasting Act 1989 and the provisions of the Crown Entities Act 2004.
