That's The Story

That's the Story

That's The Story goes to air every Sunday morning from seven until eight on the Classic Hits network.

It's made up of 100% original kiwi stories. These stories are written, voiced and produced, their music is composed and sound effects are added, fresh EVERY SINGLE WEEK!

Each episode of That's The Story features never-before-heard New Zealand songs and stories, including stories contributed by New Zealand children, chances to win cash and prizes, and letters and messages from kids all over the country - young and old.

Local and international celebrities read stories written by children, and so far Helen Clark, Don Brash, Paul Holmes, The Mad Butcher, and even Suranne Jones (Karen McDonald of Coronation Street) have read us a story written by a young New Zealander.

That's The Story has its own website (www.thatsthestory.co.nz), which has gathered a lot of momentum and is getting more hits than the programme's producers could ever have imagined.

That's The Story is a vehicle for children's writers to have their creativity heard, but it is also an inspiration to young New Zealanders to give it a go and be heard on their radio station.

And lots of grown ups love it too!
