Terry Teo

Terry is on a mission to avenge his father’s murder in this witty action drama which makes for great family viewing.

The original Terry and the Gunrunners comic was created by New Zealand authors Bob Kerr and Stephen Ballantyne in the early 1980’s. Transformed into a popular children’s television series in the mid-80’s, the series has now been revamped by the talented team at Semi-Professional Pictures as a Television drama for TVNZ.

Terry is a scruffy yet smart young criminal carrying out a string of home invasions in his hometown of Auckland. Terry is heading down the wrong path as a gang prospect when his father is murdered. Guided by his newfound moral compass Terry puts his criminal expertise to use as he vows to avenge his father’s death.

Producer Luke Sharpe and Director/Writer Gerard Johnstone have certainly added their own spin to the adventures of Terry Teo, and we think they nailed it! The remake of the classic Kiwi kids show is available at TVNZ On Demand now. But don't just leave it for the kids - it’s a fun family show - if you enjoyed Terry in the 80's you'll love it even more now.

All six episodes are currently available at TVNZ On Demand, with the series set for a television broadcast from the 27th of November.

Terry Teo is supported as a Children’s Drama programme.
