Agent Anna and the team at Eden Realty are back for a second series. The 10-part comedy will again follow Anna in her journey to succeed as a real estate agent.
In series two, Anna rids herself of her rookie title in the industry and is out to make money, shrink her debt and reinvent her life.
Robyn Malcolm has become an Executive Producer on this series, accompanied by a new team of writers headed by Fiona Samuel. The number of episodes has increased from six to 10, allowing for better story and character development.
Series one of Agent Anna saw the highest rating season debut on New Zealand television of a scripted comedy in about a decade.
Our support for scripted comedy, as part of our Drama funding, delivers a uniquely New Zealand perspective. Drama is given special priority under the Broadcasting Act. Its important NZ On Air supports drama and scripted comedy because these are risky, high-cost programmes to develop and deliver. Without our support they would not be made.
