Music Promotions appointment

We're delighted to announce that Jeff Newton is joining the music team as NZ On Air's new Broadcast Promotions Executive, replacing Mike McClung. He'll be promoting new songs to radio and music television for airplay consideration, aiming to get as much NZ music on the airwaves as possible.

Jeff (Tainui) comes to us from EMI New Zealand where he has been the Promotions Manager. Previously Jeff has worked in radio including a stint on Breakfast for MoreFM Waikato and in promotions for ZM. Jeff starts with us on 7 February.
