With a new year comes new resolutions, and two of our people came back to work with change in mind.
First, we’re very reluctantly accepting the resignation of our incomparable Head of Innovation Brenda Leeuwenberg who wants to seek new challenges after five years with us.
Second, and entirely coincidentally, Head of Funding Glenn Usmar wants to stand aside due to some pressures at home. Glenn has a wealth of expertise and we’re delighted he has agreed to stay on as Associate Head of Funding (Operations), alongside Benedict Reid as Associate Head of Funding (Business Affairs). Glenn will look after the day to day operations of the funding, assessment and monitoring processes.
This means we’re now looking for a new Head of Funding, which combines a bit of both Brenda’s and Glenn’s current roles. This is an amazing role, championing public media with a focus on strategy and future thinking, industry outreach, and development and support of the whole funding team.
The ideal candidate is based in Wellington but Auckland is possible for the right person. We’re expecting a start around May.
