Radio New Zealand National broadcasts via AM and FM around the country. It reaches about 97% of the population via these transmitters (although it is also available on the Sky Television satellite service - Sky Channel 501 - which means than it is available to 100% of the population). It is also broadcast on channel 50 on Freeview.
