We invest in high quality documentary content.
New Zealanders have a strong appetite for local documentary and information content. We extend the diversity of what’s available by funding a mix of styles and story-telling techniques, designed to appeal to a range of tastes, and appearing on a range of platforms.
Much of our documentary and information TV programming is broadcast during prime time. A good documentary or information programme often tops the ratings for local content. We can also find audiences for more targetted content off-peak, or online. Online offers the opportunity for interactive content, with which audiences can be more engaged and involved.
